Lydia Taylor (b. circa 1800), manager of East Wheal Lovell Mine in Wendron 1840-45. Does anyone know her place of birth or what happened to her after 1845?
A Miss Lidgey reputedly was manager of Magdalen Mine, Ponsanooth in the early 20th century. Can anyone identify her?
Mrs Margaret Spargo, of Gunnislake, was recorded as a china clay merchant in 1893. Who was she?
Elizabeth Ashton who was a chemist and assayer at Hawkes Point Mine, Carbis Bay from about 1883 was born in Aylesbury c. 1845. She was probably married in London c. 1866 but her maiden name is unknown. Can anyone identify her? |
